Assumption Vacation Church Camp: Monday, July 9th – Friday, July 13th, 8:45 am – 12:45. Registration fee is $15 per child until June 30, $20 afterward; after care until 3:00 pm is available for an extra fee. Pre-K – 5th grade will go on a Wild West Adventure in “Wanted: Rebels for Christ”, and 6th – 9th grade students will explore the Orthodox faith in “Raiders of the Holy Gifts”. Hellenic Culture Camp 2018: Monday, July 16 - Thursday, July 19th, at the St. Nicholas Family Life Center, 8:45 am - 3:00 pm, and Friday, July 20th at Vetta Sports: Manchester from 8:45 am - noon. For children in grades 2 through 8. Learn Greek Cooking, History, Geography, Greek Dancing, Greek language, Greek Arts and Jewelry Making and Sports. $100 for first child, $90 for second and $80 for third. Movie Night: Philoptochos has rented a theatre at Des Peres Cine for a private screening of “Mamma Mia - Here We Go Again” Sunday, July 29th. The movie starts at 5:00 pm and tickets are $15.00. Christ the Good Shepherd Orthodox Church Feast Day: Join the parishioners of Christ the Good Shepherd for their feast day celebration on the Transfiguration of our Lord: Sunday, August 5th, 6:30 pm Great Vespers and reception; Monday, August 6th, 9:00 am Orthros, 10:00 am Divine Liturgy.
Summer Women’s Book Study, Pool Party & Potluck: Saturday, August 18th, from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm at the home of Keve Gialouris. Join the ladies for a great discussion about the book, Tears of Repentance by Athanasios Katigas, take a dip in the pool, and share a potluck meal.
